The Tottenham Hotspur player is clearly elated with his latest achievement.

Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ben Davies has been speaking to the club’s official website after his country Wales qualified for Euro 2016 with a game to spare.

Chris Coleman’s side lost 2-0 to Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday but Cyprus’s surprise victory against Israel means Wales have now automatically qualified for next summer’s tournament.

It is a huge moment for Welsh football, with Coleman guiding them to their first major finals since 1958, and Davies is on cloud nine after the weekend clash.

Speaking to, Davies said, “It was an incredible feeling, amazing, it’s hard to find the words that describe it. It’s one of the best moments of my career.”

Davies is currently ahead of Tottenham teammate Danny Rose when it comes to featuring regularly at left-back, but the 22-year-old will know that can change in an instant.

Having fought his way to the top of that particular pecking order Davies will not want to relinquish it, and more performances like the ones he is putting in on the international stage will only help him maintain his place for Tottenham, for the long haul.
