Tottenham round-up: Spurs tracking Moses Simon and Wanyama reportedly wants Pochettino reunion

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are tracking young Gent winger Moses Simon.

The 20-year-old Nigerian is predominantly a left winger although he can also play on the opposite flank or more centrally if required.

Simon has scored seven goals in 28 matches for his current club after arriving in January and he previously scored a very impressive 17 goals in 38 matches for AS Trencin, also providing 10 assists in that time.

He is an exciting prospect but it remains to be seen just how many more wide players Tottenham need to sign considering those already in the first-team and others coming through the academy.

In other news, the Sun claims Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama will snub a new contract at St. Mary’s in an attempt to ultimately move to White Hart Lane.

Tottenham were linked with a summer move for the Kenyan midfielder but that failed to materialise, but with just two years left on his current contract, the former Celtic player is being tipped to play hardball in a bid to get his wish.

The report quotes a source as saying Wanyama “loved working with Mauricio (Pochettino) and would still like the move to happen.”
