Bernd Leno and Loris Karius are on Liverpool's radar.
Liverpool appointed Jurgen Klopp as their replacement for Brendan Rodgers this week. The charismatic German is set to take Anfield by storm this season and it will be interesting to see who he brings in to the club in January.
One man who should be worried, if current reports are to be believed, is goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
The Belgian stopper might be under threat as Calcio Mercato report Klopp is eyeing up German stoppers Bernd Leno of Bayer Leverkusen and Loris Karius of his former club Mainz.
Both are highly-rated German keepers who would no doubt make a positive impact should they arrive at Anfield.
However their signature would essentially see Mignolet relegated to reserve - which would not displease many a Liverpool fan.
Mignolet is a great shot-stopper but has struggled at times with his claiming of crosses and decision making - not to mention with the ball at his feet.
Karius and Leno are very good stoppers but whether they represent an improvement on Mignolet deserves reserving judgement.
However, some added goalkeeper pressure on Mignolet will not do any harm at Liverpool.
