The Peterborough United chairman has been hugely impressed by the Queens Park Rangers midfielder.
Indeed, the 23-year-old took to the field as Swindon Town lost to Peterborough at the weekend.
But Gladwin had initially left Swindon for QPR over the summer. Just three Championship appearances for the R's led the midfielder to being loaned back to Swindon, however.
There, he was able to put in a display that MacAnthony thought made him the best player on the park against Posh.
The Peterborough chairman believes QPR must have 'some midfield' if Gladwin can't get a place within it, while he feels his loan signing is a 'handy' move for Swindon.
Gladwin best player on park & if he can't get in QPR midfield then they must have some midfield in championship. Handy loan etc.— Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) October 11, 2015
Peterborough's win leaves them eighth in the League One table, while Swindon are 19th.
As for QPR, Chris Ramsey's men face a tough few fixtures after the international break, despite only being seven points off the top of the Championship.
That gap will only increase if the R's aren't at their best when they travel to Gary Rowett's in-form Birmingham City side next weekend. Thereafter, QPR host Sheffield Wednesday and then MK Dons.
