The Leicester City player has again been linked with Celtic.
According to a report from The Scotsman, Celtic could rekindle their interest in Croatia international Andrej Kramaric after the 24-year-old expressed his dissatisfaction at being used sparingly at Leicester City.
Kramaric arrived at Leicester with a big reputation having scored 55 goals in just 64 matches for HNK Rijeka. But despite the Foxes fighting off other clubs to secure his signature, the Croatian has featured just 18 times for Leicester thus far, and he has made just three appearances since Claudio Ranieri took charge.
His lack of game-time prompted the player to voice his displeasure in an interview with Sata24 and now The Scotsman is suggesting that Celtic could make a fresh attempt to sign a player they were linked with during the summer.
There is no doubt that a fit-and-firing Kramaric would be an outstanding addition to Celtic’s forward line, but one wonders if the report has put two and two together and got five, with the player’s frustration leading to a relatively easy transfer link.
Still, January could be an interesting month for Celtic manager Ronny Deila as he attempts to further strengthen a side that will be hoping for both domestic and European glory in the months ahead.
