West Ham youngster Josh Cullen shines once again for Republic of Ireland u-21s with another man-of-the-match performance

The midfielder looks like a real prospect for the future at West Ham.

West Ham United have certainly got a great record of producing top young talent. This season is looking no different, with the likes of Reece Oxford already causing waves at the club.

West Ham also recently awarded young star Josh Cullen with a new deal at the club. His new three-year deal with the club came on deadline day, as the likes of Michail Antonio, Nikica Jelavic and Alex Song all arrived so it may have slipped some fans by but Cullen is clearly highly-rated at the club.

Cullen, who was born in Southend but is eligible for Ireland through his family, recently made his debut for West Ham – coming on in the 3-0 win over Liverpool prior to the international break.

He is also starting to make a name for himself on the international stage. He recently received his first call-up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21 side and had an immediate impact for the age group, the star of the show on his competitive debut against Andorra.

He was at it again last night.

He was in great form for Ireland's youngsters as they defeated Lithuania in their latest match - with the West Ham youngster named man of the match:

He then went on to tweet after the game, sharing his joy at yet another eye-catching performance for Ireland.

Ireland face Italy under-21s on Tuesday, when Cullen will be hoping to once again drive his nation to victory.
