Gold says West Ham will have the cheapest season tickets in the league.
West Ham co-chairman has been on the tweet today discussing the club's upcoming move to the Olympic Stadium.
It has been a controversial move which has seen a long process leading to the confirmation of the stadium as their new home from next season.
David Gold has been Tweeting about the process involved in making the move to the new stadium on twitter tonight.
He made it clear that the club had gone through all the right channels to make the switch and that the process has been tough:
West Ham had to go through 3 arduous, fair, competitive and thoroughly robust bidding processes to become anchor tenants at the Stadium. dg— David Gold (@davidgold) October 10, 2015
He then went on to make a promise to fans regarding the club's season ticket prices. Despite their move to a larger location and the trend for ticket prices going up in the Premier League this season, Gold insists that West Ham will have the cheapest season ticket in the league next season and some very cheap prices for under-16s:
Next season we will have the cheapest season ticket in the PL and season ticket for under sixteens as low as £99. dg https://t.co/sP7gWF8OFb— David Gold (@davidgold) October 10, 2015
It is once again a positive step from West Ham as they look to push on and become one of the biggest teams in the Premier League.
