The talented teenager trained with the England first-team this week.
This week saw an Everton youngster get a great opportunity to train alongside the England senior national team.
England had players missing through injury from Wednesday's session, with captain and record goal-scorer Wayne Rooney, Danny Ings and Jonjo Shelvey all sitting out. With that in mind Roy Hodgson decided to give England under-17 midfield star Tom Davies a chance in the training camp.
Tom Davies is an Everton under-21 midfielder with plenty of potential to go on and become a big success in the game. At just 17-years-old there is plenty of time for him to come through the ranks at Everton and as yet he has not made a first-team appearance for the club - although was recently handed his first professional deal at Goodison Park.
If he is to become a hit at Everton he might have to follow in the footsteps of Rooney. The England captain and Manchester United star began his career at Everton and has gone on to become a global superstar.
It was also reported that Rooney actually gave the lad a pep-talk on Wednesday. The Liverpool Echo report that Rooney spoke to Davies before the training session to give him a boost ahead of the training session.
Everton fans will certainly hope that Davies can indeed go on to become a star with the club, similar to the impact Rooney had during his time on Merseyside.
