Jurgen Klopp is the new Liverpool manager.

Jurgen Klopp seems to be excited at the prospect of managing Liverpool.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss has been appointed as the Reds boss following the dismissal of Brendan Rodgers last weekend.

Klopp gave his first press conference as a Liverpool manager earlier today, but before that, he touched the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign (see photo above).

The German had touched the sign before - when he was in charge of Dortmund - but today was the first time he did as manager of Liverpool.

The former Mainz coach then gave his first press conference as Liverpool boss and described himself, as reported by The Guardian, as the ‘Normal One’.

Klopp is one of the best managers in Europe at the moment, and Liverpool fans will expect progress and success under him.

The Reds are aiming for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season, and it will be interesting to see if they can fulfil their objective under Klopp.
