Luciano Becchio says that he will come to watch Leeds United play at Elland Road soon.

Luciano Becchio has taken to social networking site Twitter to state that he plans to watch Leeds United play at Elland Road soon.

The 31-year-old Argentine striker is without a club at the moment, having recently left Club Atletico Belgrano.

Becchio played for Leeds from 2008 to 2013 and was hugely popular among the Elland Road faithful. The striker scored 75 goals in 190 league appearances for the West Yorkshire outfit.

The former Norwich City man now plans to come to Elland Road to watch a Leeds match.

The West Yorkshire outfit will not play until next weekend due to the ongoing international break.

Uwe Rosler’s side will take on Brighton & Hove Albion at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday, October 17.

The Whites are 16th in the Championship table at the moment with just 11 points from 10 matches, just three points above the relegation zone.

Following Becchio’s message on Twitter, Leeds fans responded to him on the social networking site.
