John Arne Riise reacts on Twitter to Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp appointment

Jurgen Klopp has succeeded Brendan Rodgers as the Liverpool manager.

John Arne Riise has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool appointing Jurgen Klopp as their manager.

Klopp has been made the new Liverpool boss following the dismissal of Brendan Rodgers on Sunday.

According to BBC Sport, the former Borussia Dortmund boss has been given a three-year contract worth £15 million.

Former Liverpool defender Riise is happy to see Klopp handed the Liverpool job and is optimistic of the Reds’ future under the German.

Liverpool are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from eight matches, just three points behind fourth-place Crystal Palace.

The Reds are very much in the running for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season, and fans will hope that Klopp can galvanise the team.

The Merseyside outfit will take on Tottenham Hotspur away from home at White Hart Lane in the league after the international break.
