Ireland celebrate their famous victory with bizarre music choice

Shane Long

Just when Ireland won our hearts with a plucky victory, this has ruined everything.

Against all the odds, Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland team managed to pull off a famous victory against world champions Germany on Thursday.

The Germans bombarded Ireland's goal with 16 shots, however only three were able to test Shay Given and Darren Randolph in the Irish goal. Germany also managed an incredible 71.9% possession, as James McCarthy and Jeff Hendrick ran around and basically played piggy in the middle with the visitors.

However, the Irish managed to hit the leaders of Euro 2016 qualifying Group D on the counter attack, with Shane Long stunning the World Cup holders with a great finish and getting Ireland the win.

So, how do you celebrate such a brilliant victory, one which has pushed your side closer to Euro 2016? Listen to some BoyZone or maybe some U2, surely? NOPE, the Irish decided to listen to Justin Bieber's 'What do you mean', and it turns out the annoying Canadian is a big Irish fan.

While this is all sorts of confusing, one point we'd like to raise is has Roy Keane gone soft? First he's letting Robbie Keane mug him off and now he's letting the Irish team play JUSTIN BIEBER on the team bus.
