Good news all round for West Ham United in latest injury update

Several important players are in line for an imminent return.

West Ham have provided a injury update on several key men on their official website, ahead of a return to Premier League action next weekend.

The Hammers have been struck down by a number of injuries to important figures this season but are slowly returning the bulk of their squad to fitness,

Enner Valencia, Angelo Ogbonna and Andy Carroll have been training all week and now look close to making a comeback.

Meanwhile, Winston Reid - who was substituted with a minor injury in the 2-2 draw with Sunderland last weekend – looks set to return, with the club’s medical staff confident he will be back for the clash with Crystal Palace on October 17th.

On-loan Barcelona midfielder Alex Song has yet to appear for the Hammers this season and he continues to work on his recovery with an eye on a comeback in the near future.

Finally, 22-year old defender Doneil Henry is working on a recovery from a groin injury but no time-frame for his re-introduction has yet been established.

West Ham's excellent start to the season is made all the more impressive by the players they've had missing and with a healthier squad set to be available over the next few weeks, Slaven Bilic will be confident of continuing the good form.
