Everton and Aston Villa have both made bids for Bury youngster Matty Foulds, according to a report on ESPN.
The pair are said to have submitted formal offers to the Shakers, but they reportedly face competition from Derby County for his signature.
David Flitcroft has admitted to Bury's official website that bids have been made for his prized asset, and he has been left out of recent first-team starting line-ups due to the speculation surrounding his future.
Foulds made his senior debut against Leicester City in the Capital One Cup, and also played for Bury in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy game against Accrington Stanley.
Villa and Everton both have a history of signing players from the lower leagues, and they seemingly feel that Foulds could be the next big talent to emerge from the Football League ranks.
Derby, meanwhile, are yet to submit a bid for the central defender, but could make an offer as interest mounts in his services.
