Arsenal reportedly had scouts at Celtic's Europa League match against Fenerbahce.
According to a report in the Glasgow Evening Times, Arsenal had scouts watching Nir Bitton at Celtic's match against Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
Bitton has been in brilliant form for the Bhoys over the past two seasons, and he is quickly establishing a reputation for being one of the finest players in Celtic's ranks.
The Gunners are said to be tracking his progress now, as Arsene Wenger seeks to add a defensive midfielder to his squad.
Arsenal decided against signing a midfield enforcer in the summer transfer window due to the form of Francis Coquelin, but Bitton could be of interest.
The 23-year-old has a wonderful technical ability, while he also has proven to be an excellent shield for the Bhoys' defence.
Bitton has made 15 appearances for Celtic so far this season, and during that time he has scored four goals.
If Bitton does join Arsenal, he will become the latest Celtic player to move to the Premier League, following Virgil van Dijk's departure to Southampton in the summer transfer window.
