Queens Park Rangers were able to keep hold of many of their key players over the summer transfer window.
The R's have had an indifferent start to the campaign, but Konchesky has praised the club's work at keeping hold of their star players over the summer transfer window.
"We’ve kept our big players,’ the left-back said. "With Charlie Austin, Matt Phillips and Rob Green, we can do well this season. We’ve got a good chance."
Konchesky was one of QPR's summer additions, and he rather broke the trend, considering his age.
QPR have tried to bring in young and hungry talent, but Konchesky was one of the proven players that they brought in and he has gone straight into Chris Ramsey's line-up.
The 34-year-old has made 10 appearances QPR this season, and he has been part of a backline which has leaked goals.
The London outfit have already conceded 20 times this term, a higher total than any other team in the Championship, and they will need to work hard on tightening up their defence over the international break.
QPR currently sit in 11th place in the Championship table, with the R's next game coming against high-flying Birmingham City in two Saturdays' time.
