Tottenham's Marcus Edwards and Kazaiah Sterling score in 8-0 England U17 win

The two Tottenham Hotspur players impressed for their country this week.

Two of Tottenham Hotspur’s most exciting young players have been impressing for England’s under-17 side this week, both scoring in an 8-0 victory against Congo DR on Wednesday afternoon.

Kazaiah Sterling is a 16-year-old striker who has been impressing for Tottenham’s under-18 side and scored on his debut for their under-21 team this season, while Marcus Edwards is an attacking midfielder of the same age who again has been given a chance at that higher level recently.

Sterling and Edwards are two of the most exciting young players in Tottenham’s academy and the fact that they are also doing the business for their country should excite England fans looking towards the future.

Edwards scored one goal against DR Congo and Sterling netted twice, and while both players have scored before at that level it is exciting to see them recreating their relationship at club level on the international stage.

There are so many exciting players coming through at Tottenham right now that some of their fans may not know who to get the most excited about, but Sterling and Edwards should certainly be near the top of the list.
