Leicester City beat Norwich City 2-1 in their most recent fixture.
The Austrian defender played his first 90 minutes in the Premier League at Carrow Road, and helped his side pick up an impressive 2-1 victory.
Fuchs says a major contributing factor to his impressive performance were Ranieri's calming words before the match.
The Italian boss told Fuchs to relax and try and replicate the performance he had put in against West Ham United in the Capital One Cup.
“[The manager said] Just to play like you played against West Ham and do what you can do best," Fuchs revealed. "That’s what I tried to do and I think I did well.”
Fuchs was signed by Leicester in the summer, and he adds plenty of experience to their backline.
So far the 29-year-old has played a back-up role during his time with the Foxes, but he will be hoping that he did enough against Norwich to keep his place.
Leicester have made a brilliant start to the new campaign, and they are currently sat in fifth place in the Premier League table.
The Foxes return from the international break with a fixture against Southampton on Saturday 17th October.
