Carlos Tevez left Serie A champions Juventus to return to his homeland in the summer, and it has done his international chances no harm at all.
The former Premier League title winner remains part of the Argentina national team, and was pictured in training alongside his old Manchester City teammate Sergio Aguero on Monday.
Aguero was one of three Manchester City stars in attendance in training in Argentina capital Buenos Aires.
He arrived alongside teammates Nicolas Otamendi and Martin Demichelis, looking ever inch the superstar, coming off a headline grabbing five goal performance against Newcastle United on Saturday.
They were joined by new rival, Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero, who joined on a free transfer in the summer.
Everton new boy, former River Plate centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori is also part of the squad and was present in training.
Argentina face Ecuador on Friday at 1am, before playing Paraguay on Wednesday, also a 1am kick-off UK time.
