The Brazilian teenager arrived at Liverpool during the summer after a successful trial.
The 18-year-old midfielder signed for Liverpool from Internacional for a reported £500,000 (according to the Liverpool Echo) and he has since moved on loan to Finnish side SJK.
Prior to that however he did train with his new Liverpool teammates and took part in pre-season with them, travelling for the match against Helsinki during what proved to be a successful trial.
Allan is very much one for the future but he is an exciting prospect and Lucas has been singing his praises in an interview with Liverpool FC Magazine.
“He’s been round to my house and we talked a little bit,” Lucas said of the teenager. “We had him here training intensely for a couple of weeks and he is another one for the future.
“In the two weeks he was here we could see that he has a great future ahead of him.”
Liverpool have signed a number of talented young players while their academy is full of real gems, with the likes of Cameron Brannagan, Harry Wilson, Ryan Kent and Jordan Rossiter all hoping to make a big impact in the years to come.
But Allan may one day join them, provided he is as good as his countryman believes.
