Everton have the Premier League's most error prone player this season

Barkley, Lukaku, Barry

Two Everton players make up the top six most error prone players in the Premier League.

Gareth Barry is the most error prone player in the Premier League this season, figures show.

The Everton midfielder has made three mistakes leading to shots for the opposition, with one leading to a goal.

And he is not the only Toffees ace to feature in a 'top six' list players should want to avoid being a part of

Barry is the only player to make three errors leading to shots this season, with teammate Seamus Coleman also making two.

TeamErrors Leading To ShotErrors Lead To GoalsAppearances
Gareth Barry Everton 3 1 8
Sebastián Coates Sunderland 2 0 5
Seamus Coleman Everton 2 0 5
Bafétimbi Gomis Swansea 2 0 8
Glenn Whelan Stoke 2 0 8
Kurt Zouma Chelsea 2 0 7

Sunderland's Sebastian Coates is the only summer signing to feature on the list, after moving from Liverpool in the transfer window, but after playing on loan for the Black Cats last season, he cannot blame unfamiliarity with his surroundings.

Barry, 34, has been a regular for Everton this season, and has made positive contributions towards his side's rise to seventh place in the table, although he is yet to score or register an assist.

He played a key role in the draw with Liverpool at the weekend, winning three tackles and creating two goalscoring chances, touching the ball 70 times, more than any other Everton player apart from Ross Barkley (74).
