West Bromwich Albion forward Victor Anichebe and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku exchanged messages on social networking site Twitter on Sunday.
Everton played out a 1-1 draw with Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
Danny Ings put the Reds in the lead in the 41st minute when he headed home James Milner’s cross from close range.
Lukaku restored parity for the Toffees on the stroke of half time, with neither side able to add to the score in the second period.
Following the match, West Brom forward Anichebe, who developed at Everton’s youth academy and played for the first team until 2013, sent a message to Lukaku on Twitter, with the Belgium international striker responding to it.

Everton are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 13 points from eight matches, just two points behind fourth-place Crystal Palace.
Roberto Martinez’s side next game is against Manchester United at Goodison Park on Saturday, October 17.
