Video: Chelsea youngsters Dominic Solanke and Nathan score in 5-0 thrashing

Vitesse Arnhem thrashed Groningen in the Eredivsie yesterday.

Much has been made recently about Chelsea’s current loan policy. They currently have 34 players away from the club temporarily all over the world.

One team that has benefited the most from this strategy has been Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem. They have had a litany of players on loan from Chelsea – including the likes of Nemanja Matic, Bertrand Traore and Lucas Piazon.

Currently the club have the likes of Izzy Brown, Lewis Baker and Danilo Pantic on their books – along with Dominic Solanke and Nathan.

The 18-year-old from Basingstoke and the summer signing from Atletico Paranaense have particulary impressed in the Dutch Eredvisie and scored yesterday.

Solanke netted after getting on the end of a rebounded strike from distance. Nathan’s goal was similar, except he sat the goalkeeper down before slotting the ball home for his goal.

Vitesse eventually won the game against FC Groningen 5-0, with the Chelsea boys integral to the win.

Blues fans will be hoping they continue to develop at the Gelredome this season.
