Nottingham Forest star Kyle Ebecilio discusses plans for loan stay

The former Arsenal youngster has been struggling with injury recently.

Nottingham Forest may had a struggle this summer in the transfer market but in the end they managed to do some fairly good business.

One player who arrived at the club was former Arsenal youngster Kyle Ebecilio.

The Dutchman arrived at Forest from FC Twente this summer after previously being linked with a move to Championship rivals QPR.

At QPR he would have had two friends already. Dutchmen Leroy Fer and Tjaronn Chery are both in the league, as is Elvis Manu – all three players he knows well from his time in Dutch football.

But he told Voetbal Primeur that he is not here to make friends, but wants to succeed at the City Ground:

"That of course is nice.

“It will be something to play against them, but really I’m not here for them.

“I'm here to help Nottingham Forest and to get lots of playing time.

“I want to make a good impression here. That I want to succeed."

Ebecilio has struggled for fitness since his arrival at Forest but has impressed when he has featured in the first-team.

Unfortunately he limped out of the action against Hull City once again at the weekend and hopefully he can put his fitness woes behind him and impress in the Forest first-team.
