The Manchester United defender is currently side-lined with a broken leg.
Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has taken to Twitter to confirm that he has been at the club’s training ground for the first time since his horror injury against PSV Eindhoven.
The 20-year-old suffered a double leg fracture in the Champions League clash last month following a tackle from Hector Moreno, and there is no telling when Shaw will be back playing for United again.
It will be a long road to recovery but Shaw is young enough and focused enough to take it in his stride, and given his outstanding form at the start of the campaign, United manager Louis van Gaal will be desperate to see him back on the field in due course.
While that is still some way off, Shaw has at least visited United’s training ground this week and that will be a big boost as he continues his slow recovery.
The England international will not have given up on securing a place on the plane for Euro 2016 but for now he has other things on his mind, explaining exactly how it felt to be back in familiar surroundings.
