Liverpool sacked Rodgers as their manager on Sunday evening following the 1-1 draw with Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
The 42-year-old was appointed the Reds boss in the summer of 2012, and it seems that the club’s owners have run out of patience and believe that he is no longer good enough to be in charge.
Former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar appears to back Liverpool’s decision, suggesting on Twitter that Rodgers is not a good manager.
The Englishman has also claimed it was Uruguay international forward Luis Suarez, now at Barcelona, who made Rodgers look good.
Lord Sugar has predicted that the Northern Irishman does not have a future in football management in the UK.
