Kieran Lee positive about mood in the Sheffield Wednesday dressing room

Sheffield Wednesday have won their last four matches in all competitions.

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Kieran Lee has told the club's official site that the mood is camp is very good right now, after their stunning run of form.

Wednesday have won their last four matches in all competitions, and they have climbed the Championship table rapidly, as a result.

The Owls are lurking ominously just outside the playoff places, and Lee says that confidence is high at Hillsborough.

“We’re high on confidence right now and enjoying our football, as are the fans," the in-form midfielder said.

“We’ll work hard over the next two weeks and be ready to come back even stronger.”

Lee has been an integral part of Carlos Carvalhal's plans at Wednesday since he took over, with the energetic midfielder playing in most of the side's matches.

Lee has set the tempo for Wednesday this season, and he scored in Wednesday's latest outing - a 3-1 win over Preston North End.

The problem for Wednesday is that their momentum has been temporarily halted by the international break, which has arguably come at a bad time for them.

The Yorkshire club would have been keen to continue playing while they were in good form, but they will have to wait for another two weeks before they next take to the field again, when they face Hull City.
