Tottenham round-up: Early team news and Pochettino explains what his young players have to learn

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur travel to the Liberty Stadium today to take on Swansea City and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be hoping to maintain their impressive recent run in the Premier League.

Spurs have defeated Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Manchester City in recent weeks and another win this afternoon will fire them further up the table. But Swansea are enjoying a fine campaign of their own and in their own backyard they are a very tough proposition.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Tottenham are without summer signing Heung-Min Son due to injury, while left-back Danny Rose is a doubt after suffering a hand injury in the recent match against AS Monaco.

There could however be better news regarding Mousa Dembele, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb who are all being tipped to feature.

In other news, Pochettino has been speaking to the club’s official website about preparing for their latest fixture after tough games against City and Monaco.

“It’s not easy, we’re young and we need to learn how to manage ourselves mentally and physically,” the manager told

If they can do that, in the long term there is no telling how good this young side can become.
