McCarthy and McArthur react on Twitter to win, Palace chairman sends message to winger

Crystal Palace defeated West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday.

Crystal Palace duo Alex McCarthy and James McArthur have taken to social networking site Twitter to express their delight at the win against West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

Palace made it three wins in a row in all competitions with a 2-0 victory over West Brom at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half, winger Yannick Bolasie put the Eagles ahead in the 68th minute, and in the 89th minute former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye found the target from the penalty spot.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Selhurst Park, hosts Palace had 60% of the possession, took 21 shots of which just eight were on target, and earned eight corners.

Visiting West Brom had 40% of the possession, took seven shots of which two were on target, and earned three corners.

Following the match, Palace duo McCarthy and McArthur took to Twitter to revel in their triumph, while club chairman Steve Parish sent a message to Bolasie on the social networking site.
