The Bhoys returned to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership with a narrow 2-1 victory over Hamilton at New Douglas Park.
Gramoz Kurtaj's drive put Accies in front after four minutes, but the Bhoys staged a successful comeback thereafter.
Griffiths's free kick from the right was prodded over the line by centre-half Dedryck Boyata in the 26th minute.
The Scotland international striker himself found the target just past the half-hour mark, when he sent a looping header past Michael McGovern.
Following the match, Griffiths took to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at the win.
Not the best performance , but 3 points was all that mattered. Good to get on scoresheet again. Now off to meet the @ScottishFA squad.— leigh griffiths (@Leighgriff09) October 4, 2015
