Celtic beat Hamilton 2-1 at New Douglas Park this afternoon.
Celtic claimed a crucial victory this afternoon as they defeated Hamilton Academical 2-1 at New Douglas Park - but they had to work hard for their win.
The Bhoys had not only drawn 0-0 against Hearts last weekend, but then drew 2-2 against Fenerbahce in the Champions League, meaning Ronny Deila needed a win to get his side back on track.
It didn't start well for him though, as Gramoz Kurtaj struck Hamilton in front after just four minutes, giving Accies fans hope of a shock victory.
However, Celtic did hit back on 26 minutes, as summer signing Dedryck Boyata equalised with his third goal for the club since joining from Manchester City.
Five minutes later, Celtic completed the turnaround, with Leigh Griffiths putting the Bhoys in front - and despite looking for a third goal, the score remained 2-1 to Celtic as the final whistle blew.
After Aberdeen's defeat to St. Johnstone on Saturday, Celtic are now just one point adrift of the Scottish Premiership leaders, with this result proving to be absolutely crucial for under-pressure manager Deila.
