Confirmed: Celtic line-up v Hamilton - Blackett starts, Ambrose misses out

Celtic Stands

Here is how Celtic will line up to face Hamilton Academical today.

Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Janko, Boyata, Blackett, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Commons, Rogic, Forrest; Griffiths.

Celtic substitutes: Bailly, Ciftci, Armstrong, Mackay-Steven, Lustig, McGregor, Tierney.

Celtic are back in Scottish Premiership action this afternoon as they take on fourth placed Hamilton Academical at New Douglas Park.

The Bhoys drew 2-2 with Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night, and manager Ronny Deila will be looking to bounce back with a win, having also drawn 0-0 against Hearts last weekend.

There are changes from the side that faced Fenerbahce, with Efe Ambrose - culpable for Fenerbahce's first goal - left out of the squad entirely, with Deila keen to rebuild the Nigerian's confidence again.

In comes Manchester United loanee Tyler Blackett, who partners Dedryck Boyata in the heart of the Celtic defence, whilst Saidy Janko starts at right back.

Tom Rogic will be hoping to continue his fine start to the season as he starts in attacking midfield, with Kris Commons and James Forrest either side of him.

The likes of Nadir Ciftci, Stuart Armstrong, Gary Mackay-Steven and teenager Kieran Tierney are all available from the bench for Deila, as he looks to get back to winning ways this afternoon.
