Carragher makes a joke on Twitter ahead of derby, Everton loanee confident

Everton and Liverpool will face each other in the Premier League this afternoon.

Jamie Carragher has joked on social networking site Twitter that he expects referee Mark Clattenburg to make the difference in the Merseyside derby this afternoon.

Everton will take on Liverpool at Goodison Park in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.

Former Liverpool defender Carragher is going to follow the match, of course, and he has made a joke about it on Twitter.

Everton defender Luke Garbutt has also taken to Twitter ahead of today’s Merseyside derby.

The 22-year-old left-back will not be involved in the match this afternoon, he is on loan at Championship club Fulham from the Toffees.

The youngster, though, seems confident that Everton will against Liverpool and continue their push for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.

Roberto Martinez’s side are in great form at the moment and currently find themselves just three points off the top four with a game in hand.
