QPR midfielder Sandro confirms he is back in action for club today

The former Tottenham midfielder has been out of action since May.

Queens Park Rangers take on Bolton Wanderers today at Loftus Road in a 3pm kick-off.

The Hoops go into the game in a run of bad form. They have not won in their last four outings and sit 13th in the Championship table.

The club therefore need a boost from somewhere and it might just come with the presence of a Brazilian international.

Sandro joined QPR in September last year for a fee reported by the Daily Mail to be in the region of £6 million.

However, QPR fans have only seen fleeting glimpses of the player. He suffered a serious knee injury last November and has not played for the club this season after work permit issues and a subsequent lack of match fitness.

However, he is back today.

Sandro, no stranger to pre-game Tweets (ask Tim Sherwood), has sent out this Tweet to his followers letting them know he is back for QPR this afternoon:

QPR fans will hope he can bring the quality needed to get the club back to winning ways.
