QPR fans react on Twitter to Jay Emmanuel-Thomas's performance v Bolton

The Queens Park Rangers faithful were delighted with the 24-year-old on social media.

What a game for QPR - and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.

Indeed, R's fans were provided with the full emotional rollercoaster at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon, as the west London side beat Bolton Wanderers 4-3 during a thrilling Championship encounter.

The win was ultimately a much-needed one, which takes QPR up to 15 points for the season - just seven off league-leaders Brighton and three points off the play-off places.

But it certainly wasn't an easy victory. It was a dramatic one. And QPR fans have Emmanuel-Thomas to thank after a late winner against Bolton.

In general, the 24-year-old impressed the R's faithful against the Trotters and many are now tipping him to A) be a fine replacement while Charlie Austin is out injured and B) be a potential strike partner alongside Austin when he returns.

After their 4-0 derby demolition at the hands of Fulham last Friday night, QPR needed a lift and, despite letting in three goals, Emmanuel-Thomas helped provide it.
