Phil Neville predicts where Crystal Palace will finish this season

Crystal Palace defeated West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Manchester United and Everton star Phil Neville has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Crystal Palace will finish sixth or seventh in the Premier League this season.

The former England international made the prediction following Palace’s 2-0 home win against West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first half, hosts Palace took the lead at Selhurst Park midway through the second period when Yannick Bolasie headed home Yohan Cabaye's inviting curling cross.

Former Newcastle United midfielder Cabaye added the second from the penalty spot in the 89th minute after Wilfried Zaha was tripped by Chris Brunt.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Selhurst Park, Palace had 60% of the possession, took 21 shots of which just eight were on target, and earned eight corners.

Alan Pardew’s side are flying high in the Premier League, and given the way they are playing at the moment, Neville’s prediction may well come true.
