Adrian has signed a new contract with Premier League club West Ham United.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate West Ham United’s Adrian on his new contract.

Adrian has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal with West Ham, with the option of a further two years, as announced on the club’s official website on Friday.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper joined the Hammers from Spanish club Real Betis in the summer of 2013 and has established himself as one of the best players in the team.

Former Liverpool custodian Reina, who is on the books of Napoli at the moment, is delighted to see his fellow Spaniard commit his long-term future to West Ham and has sent him the following message on Twitter, which when translated from Spanish reads: “Congratulations genius!!! 100% deserved… continue to enjoy, grow and achieve things precious to you !!”

West Ham winger Matt Jarvis, who joined Premier League rivals Norwich City on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, is also delighted to see Adrian get a new contract.
