Matt Le Tissier reacts on Twitter to shocking TV analysis of Southampton

The Southampton legend feels no credit has been given to the winning team after a 3-1 triumph at Chelsea.

Matt Le Tissier was left fuming on Saturday evening - and that's despite his beloved Southampton winning 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Indeed, it wasn't the South Coast side's dominant performance against Chelsea that left Le Tissier annoyed but rather the lack of credit given to them after the two-goal triumph.

Southampton bossed and bullied Jose Mourinho's side but the Saints icon feels there was too much talk surrounding Chelsea during the television analysis after the game.

As such, Le Tissier felt the lack of Southampton mentions was 'shocking.'

Meanwhile, the former midfielder also responded to Mourinho's suggestions that Chelsea were denied key calls by the referee after the Blues' defeat.

It was poor from Mourinho and it looks as though he's running out of excuses. Le Tissier didn't hesitate to state the facts following the game, however.

While one manager showed a lack of class, though, Ronald Koeman showed his pedigree after Southampton's win.

The Saints started the season poorly, make no mistake there. But the St Mary's outfit have now bounced back and are matching the performance levels of last campaign.
