Bastian Schweinsteiger sends message on Twitter ahead of Arsenal clash

Manchester United will face Arsenal away from home in the Premier League on Sunday.

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement at the prospect of playing against Arsenal this weekend.

United will take on Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Red Devils will head into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory over VfL Wolfsburg at Old Trafford in the Champions League Group B.

Louis van Gaal’s side are in good form at the moment and currently find themselves at the top of the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are fourth in the standings with 13 points from seven matches, just three points behind leaders United.

Schweinsteiger, who joined United from German giants Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, is looking forward to Sunday’s showdown and has posted the following message on Twitter:

Germany international midfielder Schweinsteiger has been an important player for United so far this season.

In seven Premier League appearances, the 31-year-old has created two chances, has a pass accuracy of 86%, and has won five headers, five dribbles and nine tackles.
