The 22-year-old has been one of the surprise packages for the East London club.
Though four wins from seven doesn't sound particularly pertinent, the calibre of scalps that Bilic's team have been able to take so far, as well as the style in which they have done so, has seen them noted as one of the competition's early standout sides.
Among the array of stars the Londoners are compiling, Manuel Lanzini was one of the less-heralded arrivals, but his impact has been felt as respectively as many of his teammates.
Speaking to the club's official website, the Argentine has offered his thoughts on why his new team have been able to make such a positive start to the 2015/16 campaign.
"No matter who the opposition is, we always look to play the same style, at home and away," he said. "We know the quality we have in our team and we have some very good players; that’s why we have been getting such good results."
Up next for Lanzini and co is a trip to the Stadium of Light this weekend, where they will be taking on the Premier League's bottom club, Sunderland, with intentions no doubt focused on retrieving the three points.
Dick Advocaat's side are yet to win a league contest this season, while with his footing at the club looking rather precarious, the Hammers are undoubted favourites to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to five games.
