Players from West Ham, Newcastle United and Norwich City feature.
In his press conference today Uwe Rosler confirmed that he had no plans to bring in a new loan signing, although admitted the club always remains open to the possibility.
The fact is they might be prudent to make one more signing.
Last weekend’s loss to Middlesbrough epitomised the frailty at centre-back for Leeds. Giuseppe Bellusci’s own goal was simply a high profile viewing of his erratic form.
Liam Cooper does not seem to be a favoured option of Rosler’s and even the infallible Sol Bamba has had his moments this season.
Peter Lorimer suggested this week that Leeds delve into the loan market to bring in another central defender. So who from the Premier League would be a good fit?
Mike Williamson has been suggested, but he is adamant about staying with Newcastle United. Tommie Hoban of Watford is another potential arrival, but he has just picked up an injury.
But here are three names that might do it for Leeds.
Doneil Henry – West Ham
The Canadian international excelled during a loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season. A dependable central defender who cannot get a look in at West Ham.
Jamaal Lascelles – Newcastle United
Spent last season with former team Nottingham Forest the England under-21 international has not yet broken into the Toon first-team. He has Championship experience and would bring some pace to the backline.
Ryan Bennett – Norwich City
A dependable defender with Football League experience from spells with Peterborough and Grimsby.
Not a regular in the Norwich team and spent much of last season on the treatment table with a series of injury problems.
Leeds would be the perfect place for him to showcase his talents.
