Jason Lokilo signed for Crystal Palace earlier this week.
Palace confirmed the signing of Jason Lokilo earlier this week, and he has taken part in his first training session with Alan Pardew’s senior side today.
The 17-year-old attacker has moved to South London from Belgian side Anderlecht, agreeing the transfer following the receipt of his international clearance.
He has spent the recent months with Palace, training with both the Under-18 and Under-21 sides, and is hoping to earn his way into either of those sides this season now that he has properly signed.
Naturally a right-winger, Lokilo has impressed as a creator of goalscoring chances, and can play anywhere across the front-line if needed.
Despite his youth, he has been picture as now taking part in senior Palace training, turning out at Selhurst Park ahead of this weekend’s game against West Bromwich Albion.
Considering the impressive attacking players Alan Pardew can call upon, it is unlikely that Lokilo will be in a matchday squad any time soon, but it is great for the youngster’s development to be training alongside the likes of Yohan Cabaye, Bakary Sako, Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Bolasie - all who can help him improve his fledgling talents.
