The Southampton midfielder is looking to get one over his former club.
This week saw Ryan Bertrand celebrating. The former Chelsea defender is now with Southampton and, with Leighton Baines and Luke Shaw both injured, he was called up to the England squad for upcoming ties with Estonia and Lithuania.
This weekend will see him head to his former club hoping to nab all three points for Southampton, as Chelsea continue to stutter this season.
He will of course not be the only ex-Chelsea player heading back to Stamford Bridge.
Oriol Romeu was signed by Southampton this summer from Chelsea. The 24-year-old had limited opportunities at Chelsea in his four years at the club but impressed whilst on loan at Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart last season.
Now he is turning into a regular in the Southampton side and he is clearly excited about heading to his old haunt – as he showed on Twitter.
He sent out this message to his followers earlier today:
Romeu will be hoping to show the Chelsea fans just what he is capable of come tomorrow evening.
