West Ham co-chairman’s son reacts on Twitter to England squad announcement

There are no West Ham United players in the current England squad.

The son of West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the England national squad announcement.

Dave Sullivan is surprised that not a single West Ham player has been called up to the England squad for this month’s Euro 2016 qualifiers against Estonia and Lithuania.

Sullivan’s tweet probably sums up what all West Ham fans are thinking right now.

Slaven Bilic’s side are third in the Premier League table at the moment and have a number of English players.

Aaron Cresswell is one of the best left-backs in the English top flight and has been in good form so far this season, but he cannot get into the Three Lions’ squad.

Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise for West Ham. No England call-up for Cresswell means that there is no chance of him getting injured on international duty.
