The Liverpool duo are continuing their respective recoveries from injury.
Two of Liverpool’s first-team stars have stepped up their fitness regimes as they continue to recover from serious injuries.
Reds skipper Jordan Henderson recently broke a bone in his foot, ruling him out of action for up to eight weeks, while full-back Jon Flanagan is getting ever closer to a much anticipated return following a knee injury that robbed him of all of last season.
Flanagan burst onto the scene at Anfield as a teenager, but for a while it looked unclear if he would ever play for the club again after the serious injury led to complications that coincided with the end of his contract.
Thankfully Liverpool offered him a new one and he has now posted a picture on his official Instagram account of him and Henderson relaxing after a boxing session.
The Liverpool skipper also took to the social media site to post a video of the two men training and Reds fans will be hoping both players are back this side of Christmas.
Flanagan would be a like a new signing for Liverpool having not featured for the first-team at all in the last 16 months.
