Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at being called up to the France national squad.
The central defender will be part of Laurent Blanc’s side for upcoming friendly matches against Armenia and Denmark.
The 25-year-old is delighted to be back in the France fold and has posted the following the message on Twitter, which when translated from French reads: “A great pride to regain a place in the national team for the next two matches to prepare for Euro 2016.”

Sakho, who joined Liverpool from French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2013, has only recently regained his place in the Reds’ team.
The 25-year-old has played just twice in the Premier League campaign so far this campaign, creating one chance in the process.
The Frenchman has a pass accuracy of 91%, and has won six headers, one dribble and four tackles.
