Liverpool-owned winger Lazar Markovic has taken to social networking site Twitter to wish Fenerbahce the best of luck for tonight’s Europa League tie against Celtic away from home in Glasgow.
The Turkish giants will take on Scottish Premiership champions Celtic at Celtic Park in Group A this evening.
Markovic, who joined Fenerbahce from Premier League outfit Liverpool in the summer transfer window, is unavailable for tonight’s match due to injury.
The Serbia international has a hamstring problem, but he will be supporting Fenerbahce from Turkey.
The following tweet from Markovic reads: “Physically I cannot be with you, but I'm with you with all my heart. Come on Fener!"
Fiziken yanınızda olamasam da, tüm kalbimle yanınızdayım. Haydi Fener! pic.twitter.com/pwApNWyKG6— Lazar Markovic (@LMarkec50) October 1, 2015
Fenerbahce have a very good team and have won all six of their Europa League group stage away fixtures - five of them 1-0.
The Turkish giants are at the foot of Group A, while Celtic are second with one point from one game.
