Seriously, this is one of the worst football songs of all time!

Everyone knows that a good football song is enough to rally your players and continue your good start to the season, and we're guessing that's what Reading had in mind when this venture was first mooted.

However, we think this effort from the Championship side might just be the WORST football club song ever – no, seriously!

The song named 'They Call Us The Royals' was debuted back in August, but now they've released the song to the general public – why are they punishing us?

And to go along with the song, they've released a music video, forcing the likes of Garath McCleary, Hal Robson Kanu and former player Pavel Pogrebnyak to take part.

The super cheesy song was written by co-chairwoman Khunying Sasima Srivikorn and she told GetReading: "I, along with my friends, wrote a song as a gift for Reading Football Club. We have made a music video together with it. So it will be an opening show.

“I was in the studio for many days doing that. It’s so meaningful for us to open the season well and for us to feel the spirit and the emotion of the fans with us. They have to be inside us. So we wrote the song which I’m pretty proud of. We tried to do the song in a trendy way."

Honestly, we can't do justice for just how god awful this song is, so if you fancy punishing yourself, then just watch it over and over.
