Keshi Anderson has expressed his delight at scoring his first goal in the Football League, after netting for Doncaster Rovers last night.
The 20-year-old is on loan at Doncaster from Crystal Palace and he has gone straight into the League One side's first-team squad.
Anderson has made two appearances already for Rovers, and his goal against Swindon Town yesterday evening was clearly a proud moment for him.
Absolutely buzzing to have scored my first league goal tonight! Still gutted about the result but team were a lot better! #drfc— Keshi Anderson (@KeshMan_) September 29, 2015
Anderson's goal was not enough to guide his loan club to victory, with the final score finishing at 2-2.
Despite the disappointing result, Doncaster fans have still been impressed by Anderson's initial performances for the club, and they were keen to express their delight with the youngster on social media site Twitter.
@KeshMan_ you were great mate it's nice to see someone willing to take players on and be positive. Hoping for more to come :)— Becky-Jane Orpe (@Donnybarmyarmy) September 29, 2015
What a signing Keshi Anderson is, I hope we keep him for longer than a month. Deserved MOTM #drfc— Kym Hunter (@KymHunter2) September 29, 2015
The rave reviews that Anderson is earning at Doncaster will be doing his reputation at Palace the world as good, as supporters already have high hopes for him.
It was not long ago that the striker was playing non-league football, but he has adjusted to the demands of becoming a professional with consummate ease and could play a big part for Palace in the long-term.
