Everton players were keen to stress how important their win over West Bromwich Albion was last night.

Everton players were quick to celebrate their 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion on social media site Twitter last night.

The Toffees came back from 2-0 down to be victorious in the fixture, with their fighting spirit highlighted during the contest.

West Brom took the lead through goals from Saido Berahino and Craig Dawson, but they were pegged back immediately when Romelu Lukaku netted for Everton.

That goal would be the catalyst for their recovery, with Arouna Kone's sharp finish and Lukaku's late winner earning them the three points.

It was a win which lifted Everton up to fifth in the Premier League table, and many members of the squad were keen to celebrate soon after the final whistle was blown.

Everton have made an impressive start to the season, and this win further confirmed their credentials to mount a European push this season.

The Toffees will looking to use the momentum they now have to their advantage at the weekend, when they take on Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.
